3.08.010 Transfer of budget items.

The city clerk is authorized to make transfers between items within any class in the budget for each and every department of the city necessary to take care of any deficiencies arising therein, except no salary shall be increased above the amount provided for in said budget. (Prior code § 1.66.010)
