13.80.010 Permit applications and permits.

All persons requesting permits to perform the following activities shall pay the following fees:

13.80.020 Approval/permit extension.

The fee(s) for resubmittal of plans for approval extension and/or permit extension will be one-half the applicable fees noted in Section 13.80.010. Extension fees do not apply to the three percent inspection fee. (Ord. 2497-00 § 1 (part), 2000: Ord. 2429-99 § 1 (part), 1999: Ord. 921-83 § 1 (part), 1983)

13.80.030 Inspection fee refund.

The three percent inspection fee is refundable, less forty dollars to cover permit close-out costs, if no site activity has begun. (Ord. 2497-00 § 1 (part), 2000: Ord. 2429-99 § 1 (part), 1999: Ord. 921-83 § 1 (part), 1983)

13.80.040 Investigation—Fee.

Whenever any work for which a permit is required has been commenced without first obtaining a permit, an investigation shall be made before a permit may be issued for such work. In such event, an investigation fee, in addition to the permit fee, shall be collected whether or not a permit is then or subsequently issued. The investigation fee shall be equal to the amount of the permit fee required by this code. The minimum investigation fee shall be the same as the minimum fee set forth in Section 13.80.010. The payment of such investigation fee shall not exempt any person from compliance with all other provisions of this code nor from any penalty prescribed by law. (Ord. 921-83 § 6, 1983)

13.80.050 Overtime inspection fees.

In addition to the plan review and permit fees charged under this chapter, all persons requesting inspection or permit services which require the city to pay overtime shall pay the overtime wage rate plus salary related benefits for the city person or personnel performing the inspection or other permit services.
