AMENDMENTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE AND INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE

Sections:

16.02.010    Amendments to the International Mechanical Code (hereinafter referred to as “IMC”) and the International Fuel Gas Code (hereinafter referred to as “IFGC”).

16.02.010 Amendments to the International Mechanical Code (hereinafter referred to as “IMC”) and the International Fuel Gas Code (hereinafter referred to as “IFGC”).

A.    Sections 103 of the IMC and IFGC are hereby deleted in their entireties.

B.    Section 104.7 of the IMC and Section 104.6 of the IFGC are hereby deleted in their entireties and replaced with the following:

Unless otherwise authorized, the building official shall issue all necessary notices or orders under this code. Regardless of any other language in this code, the content and service of such notices and orders shall be in the same form and manner as required of violation citations under Chapter 1.20 EMC.

C.    Sections 106.5.2 and 106.5.3 of the IMC are hereby deleted in their entireties.

D.    Sections 108.2, 108.3 and 108.4 of the IMC and IFGC are hereby deleted in their entireties.

E.    The following language is hereby deleted from Section 108.5 of the IMC:

Any person who shall continue any work on the system after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be liable for a fine of not less than [AMOUNT] dollars or more than [AMOUNT] dollars.

F.    Sections 109 of the IMC and the IFGC are hereby deleted in their entireties. (Ord. 3196-10 Part 3 § 1, 2010)
