The “Washington Model Traffic Ordinance,” Chapter 308-330 WAC, is adopted by reference as if set forth in full in the ordinance codified in this chapter, together with past and future amendments and additions thereto, but with the exception of the provisions set forth in FMC 10.04.020. 10.04.030 Disposition of traffic fines and forfeitures.
All fines or forfeitures collected upon conviction or upon the forfeiture of bail of any person charged with violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be paid into the general fund of the City. (Ord. 610 § 4, 1980)
10.04.040 Filing.
Incident to adoption of the Washington Model Traffic Ordinance by reference by the ordinance codified in this chapter, three copies of the text of the adopted Washington Model Traffic Ordinance, including Chapter 65, Laws of 1980, have been filed in the office of the City Clerk for examination by the public while they have been under consideration by the City Council; and they shall remain on file for use and examination by the public pursuant to RCW 35A.12.140 and 35A.13.180. In addition, for public information, at least one copy of the current text of the statutes adopted by reference in the Washington Model Traffic Ordinance has been on file in the office of City Clerk for examination by the public while adoption of the Washington Model Traffic Ordinance by reference has been under consideration by the City Council.
