PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

2.34.010 Established.
The public works director position is hereby established and shall be appointed by the city manager. (Ord. 1389 § 20, 2005; Ord. 686 § 1, 1975).
2.34.020 Duties.
The public works director performs a variety of administrative, supervisory, and professional work in planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of the public works department; performs all duties and exercises all powers pertaining to such office as provided by law and ordinances of the city. (Ord. 1389 § 21, 2005; Ord. 686 § 2, 1975).
