ELECTRIC ENERGY RATES

18.08.020 Nonresidential rates.
18.08.010 Residential rate.
Electric energy furnished by the city for residential use shall be charged in accordance with the following schedule:
A charge of $19.55 per billing for each metered connection plus a charge of $0.046 per KWH for the first 500 KWH of electric energy used and $0.034 per KWH of electric energy used over 500 KWH. (Ord. 1215 § 1, 1998; Ord. 1028 § 1, 1993; Ord. 1003 § 1, 1992).
18.08.020 Nonresidential rates.
Electric energy furnished by the city for nonresidential use shall be charged in accordance with the following schedule:
(a) Commercial 1 Rates. A charge of $41.00 per billing per each metered connection plus a charge of $0.050 per KWH for the first 1,000 KWH of electric energy used and $0.039 per KWH of electric energy used over 1,000 KWH.
(b) Commercial 2 Rates (Government and Schools). A charge of $99.50 per billing for each metered connection plus a charge of $0.052 per KWH for the first 1,000 KWH of electric energy used and $0.040 per KWH of electric energy used over 1,000 KWH.
(c) Yard Light Rates. A charge of $7.50 per billing for each 100-watt high pressure sodium residential yard light; a charge of $9.50 per billing for each 200-watt high pressure sodium residential yard light; a charge of $9.50 per billing for each 100-watt high pressure sodium nonresidential yard light; a charge of $12.00 per billing for each 200-watt high pressure nonresidential sodium yard light; and a charge of $15.00 per billing for each 200-watt high pressure sodium commercial flood light.
(d) City Street Light Rates. A charge of $3.00 per billing for each city street light. (Ord. 1215 § 2, 1998; Ord. 1028 § 2, 1993; Ord. 1003 § 2, 1992).
