9.98.010 Fireworks permitted when.
In order to ensure safety for the public and eliminate fire danger for the residents of the city of Granite Falls, the use of any and all fireworks shall be allowed only on December 31st from 6:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. on January 1st of the subsequent year; and on July 4th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight. 9.98.020 Violation – Penalty.
Failure to comply with this chapter is designated as a violation. Penalties for violation of state law are as set by state law in Chapter 70.77 RCW. Violations of GFMC 9.98.010 relating to the use of legal fireworks during unauthorized time periods is an infraction with a penalty in the amount of $200.00. [Ord. 859 § 22, 2013; Ord. 482 § 2, 1992.]
