STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING

10.12.010 Limitations on Kelso Drive—Established.
Standing or parking of motor vehicles and trailers whether attached or detached from a motor vehicle are restricted and/or prohibited from parking on Kelso Drive as follows:
A. No parking shall be allowed on the east side of that portion of Kelso Drive commencing with the intersection of Allen Street and Kelso Drive to the northerly bridge approach on the Coweeman River.
B. Two-hour parking is authorized on the west side of that portion of Kelso Drive commencing with the intersection of Allen Street and Kelso Drive to the northerly bridge approach on the Coweeman River, provided, however no parking of trucks or trailers shall be permitted at any time. 10.12.020 Limits on parking on city streets and city property.
A. Limits—Nonposted Streets and Public Property. Whether or not posted upon streets, city-owned or controlled parking facilities, or other city property, it is unlawful to park any vehicle in one place upon a city street, a city-owned or controlled parking facility, or other city property within the city limits of Kelso for a time period exceeding seventy-two consecutive hours.
B. Prohibited Purposes. No person shall park any vehicle, including utility trailers, camping trailers, travel trailers, motor homes, mobile homes, campers, boats or recreational vehicles, or automobiles, trucks or other vehicles upon a city street, a city owned or controlled parking facility, or upon other city property within the city limits of Kelso for the purpose of storing, repairing, or rehabilitating any inoperative vehicle, except repairs, necessitated by an emergency, which can be accomplished within a single twenty-four-hour period.
