TOWN ADMINISTRATOR

2.00.010 Position created.
There is created the position of town administrator, who shall serve as the administrative supervisor of the town government under the authority and direction of the mayor. The position shall be filled by appointment of the mayor and shall serve at the pleasure of the mayor subject to any employment contract. [Ord. 846 § 3, 2002; Ord. 730 § 1, 1998.]
2.00.020 Scope of authority.
Under the direction of the mayor, the town administrator shall supervise, administer, and coordinate the activities and functions of the various town officers, departments, commissions, and boards in implementing the requirements of town ordinances and the policies of the town council; assure the effective and efficient utilization of town employees, funds, materials, facilities, and time; direct and control the overall operations of the town to assure optimum services to the community and provide general supervision over the administrative affairs of the town.
