8.24.010 False alarms prohibited.

No person shall ring or cause to be rung the fire bell of the city or any apparatus generally used for giving fire alarm for any other purpose than to give the alarm of fire. (Ord. 196 § 1, 1893).

8.24.020 Penalty for violation.

Any person who violates Section 8.24.010 shall upon conviction before the police judge of the city be punished as provided by Section 1.08.020. (Ord. 1206 § 1, 1984: Ord. 943 § 6, 1972: Ord. 196 § 2, 1893).
