BONDS

2.64.010 Bonds required.
(1) The following named city officials shall be bonded in the following amounts:

(2) The city shall pay a reasonable premium to the surety company furnishing the required bonds. (Ord. 626 § 1, 1996; Ord. 558 §§ 2, 3, 1992; Ord. 68 § 1, 1956).
2.64.050 Cancellation.
In the event of a cancellation or expiration of the surety bond of any city official or employee, notice thereof shall be served upon the city clerk who shall bring such fact to the attention of the city council at the next regular council meeting. (Ord. 68 § 5, 1956).
2.64.060 Blanket bonds.
The fidelity protection required by this chapter may be provided by a blanket surety bond in such good and sufficient legal form as to provide the protection which would otherwise be protected by personal official bonds. (Ord. 68 § 6, 1956).
