16.16.020 Plats and plans required.
16.16.010 Application—Fees.
Any person desiring to subdivide or resubdivide land into five or more lots within the city shall submit an application therefor to the city planner. The application shall be accompanied by a filing fee and deposit, to be set by resolution of the city council, to be applied to the costs of administration, plan checking, inspections and any other expenses incurred by the city in processing plat. If costs of checking exceed amount so deposited, the city planner or in his or her absence the public works director or designee shall notify the subdivider to deposit additional money.
The land use permit applicant shall pay to the city all costs incurred by the city that are associated with processing the land use permit, including consultant costs. City and consultant reimbursable costs include, but are not limited to, actual time and materials costs for application review, assessment, engineering, inspections, legal, secretarial, administrative, publication, and other city processing costs. In addition, the applicant shall pay any charges made by the hearing examiner above the city’s basic established fee. 16.16.020 Plats and plans required.
A subdivider shall submit with his application ten copies of a preliminary plat. The subdivider shall also submit a statement indicating that current city specifications will be met in connection with streets, utilities and other proposed public improvements to be constructed in the proposed subdivision.
