3.36.010 Assessment – Amount.

When the municipal court of the city has found a person guilty of a violation of a city ordinance, as authorized by RCW 3.50.020, the municipal judge shall, as a part of the judgment pronounced, assess court costs including the sum of $4.00 per case for docket fee. If more than one charge against the same person is made and considered with one court appearance, only one such court cost shall be assessed. (Ord. 461 § 1, 1974)

    Code reviser’s note: The current amount for the fee mentioned in OMC 3.36.010 is set forth in the city’s annual fee schedule as adopted by ordinance. A copy of this ordinance is on file in the clerk-treasurer’s office.

3.36.020 Deposit to general fund.

All funds collected as court costs, together with all fees, fines, forfeitures and other moneys imposed or collected by the municipal court for the violation of any municipal ordinances, together with any other revenue received by the court, shall be deposited with the city clerk-treasurer as part of the general fund of the city, at least once a month.
