RESIDENTIAL TWO DISTRICT (R-2)

18.20.010 Intent.
The intent of the R-2 district is to provide for a mixture of residential types while limiting nonresidential uses. These areas are typically existing residential areas that have had a relatively high build out. (Ord. 660 § 8.01, 1985)
18.20.020 Uses allowed outright.
In the R-2 district the following uses and their accessory uses and structures are allowed outright:
A. Single-family dwellings;
B. Duplexes;
C. Individual lot manufactured homes;
D. Multifamily dwelling units by planned unit development;
E. Day care centers (family);

18.20.030 Uses allowed by conditional use permit.
In the R-2 district the following uses and their accessory uses and structures are allowed by conditional use permit issued in accordance with Chapter 18.92 OMC:
A. Churches with any conditions imposed to be limited to the minimum necessary to reduce conflicts with permitted outright residential uses in the neighborhood;
B. Parks and playgrounds;
