INTRODUCING CONTRABAND

9.20.020 Introduction of contraband prohibited.
9.20.010 Contraband defined.
“Contraband” means any article or thing which a person confined in, or to be confined in, a detention facility as defined by RCW 9A.76.010(2) is prohibited from obtaining or possessing by statute, rule, regulation, or order of a court. (Ord. 94-11 § 1, 1994).
9.20.020 Introduction of contraband prohibited.
A person is guilty of introducing contraband if said person knowingly brings, or attempts to bring, contraband into the Okanogan County jail for that person’s use. (Ord. 94-11 § 1, 1994).
9.20.030 Penalty.
A person introducing contraband shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not more than $1,000, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 94-11 § 1, 1994).
