7.24.010 Construction of different width or material prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct sidewalks within the city of Ritzville of a different width or material than that herein provided. (Ord. 158 § 1, 1911).
7.24.020 Sidewalks on certain streets – Construction requirements.
All sidewalks on the following streets and parts of streets shall be constructed of concrete, made from cement, sand and gravel, five feet wide, beginning one foot from the property line; all of Adams Street, Division Street, Columbia Street, Broadway and Main Avenue. (Ord. 158 § 1, 1911).
7.24.030 Sidewalks on other streets – Construction requirements.
The sidewalks for all other streets and parts of streets in the city of Ritzville than those mentioned in RCC 7.24.020 shall be four feet wide, constructed of concrete made from cement, sand and gravel, and beginning one foot from the property line. (Ord. 158 § 2, 1911).
7.24.040 Manner and procedure of construction.
The manner and procedure of constructing, building or erecting all of the aforesaid sidewalks shall be governed by the law and ordinances now in effect governing the same. (Ord. 158 § 2, 1911).
7.24.050 Violations – Penalties.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof in any court of competent jurisdiction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $100.00, and shall pay the cost of prosecution, and may be committed to jail until such fine and costs are paid.
