7.36.010 General requirements.

Whenever it shall become necessary for any corporation, company or other persons to break up, dig up, cut or excavate a public street or part thereof for the purpose of laying or gaining access to any water main or pipe or for any other lawful purpose, such corporation, company or persons shall complete such work or repairs within a reasonable time and shall without delay put such street or part thereof in good condition and remove therefrom all surplus rock, earth, rubbish thereby dug up or placed in said street. (Ord. 20 § 7, 1890).

7.36.020 Violations – Penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to have committed a civil infraction punishable in accordance with RCC 1.02.010, General penalty. (Ord. 1092 § 132, 2005; Ord. 20 § 8, 1890).
