Fire Protection District No. 1 is declared to be duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Kincaid Street and the E boundary line of the City of Mount Vernon, thence E, on such street centerline produced, to the E line of Section 22, Township 34 N, R 4 E.W.M.; thence N to NE corner of said section; thence W to NW corner of said section; thence N on section lines to the left bank of the Skagit River; thence SW and SE along the left bank of river to the N boundary line of the City of Mount Vernon; thence E along boundary line to the NE corner of the corporate limits of the said city; thence S along boundary line to the place of beginning, all situated in said County of Skagit, State of Washington.

Said district being further described as:

Fire Protection District No. 2 is declared to be duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

E 1/2 of E 1/2 of Section 8, SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 9 and S 1/2 of Section 9, all of Section 10 lying S of Ry right of way, all of Section 11, portion of Section 2 lying S of center of Ry right of way, all of Section 12, except that portion S of Skagit River, all of Section 13 lying W and S of Skagit River, all of Sections 14, 15 and 16, E 1/2 of E 1/2 of Section 17, NE 1/4 and N 1/2 of SE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 20, all of Sections 21, 22, 23 and 24.

All of Section 5, and that portion of Sections 6 and 7 lying E of Indian Slough, Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M. The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Commencing at a point where the W City limits line of the Town of Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington, intersects with the E (or S) bank of the Skagit River; thence S and W along said E (or S) bank of the Skagit River to a point due E of the Junction of the N and S forks of the Skagit River, which said junction point is in Section 36, Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M.; thence W and S along the S and E bank of the said N fork of the Skagit River to salt water. The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Beginning at the NE corner of Section 1, Township 35 N, Range 3 E.W.M.; thence W along the N line of said Section to the NW corner of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 thereof; thence S along the W line of the E 1/2 of the W 1/2 of Sections 1 and 12 to the S line of said Section 12; thence E along the S line of said Section 12 to the SE corner thereof; thence N along the E line of Sections 12 and 1 to the point of beginning.

Fire Protection District No. 7 is declared to be legally formed and the boundary lines thereof are described as follows:

The area of this district is totally situated in Skagit County and is encompassed by the boundaries of Township 33 North, Range 6 E.W.M.

Specific description is as follows:

E 1/2 of Section 21; Section 22; SW 1/4 of Section 23; W 1/2 of Section 25; S 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 25; Section 26; Section 27, excepting Government Lot 4; E 1/2 of Section 28; N 1/2 of Section 35; Section 36. (Res. 8592 § 2, 1980)

Fire Protection District No. 8 is declared to be duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Commencing at the SW corner of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 8, which is a point on the N bank of the Skagit River and the Easterly edge of State Highway No. 1-A; thence running W along the bank of the Skagit River to a point which is directly S of the SE corner of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 6; thence N to the SE corner of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 6; thence N along the E edge of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 6 in Sections 26, 23 and 14, Township 35 N, R 4 E.W.M., to the NE corner of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 6 in said Section 14, Township 35 N, R 4 E.W.M.; thence in SW direction along the N line of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 6 in Sections 14 and 15, Township 35 N, R 4.
