6.08.010 Cemetery District No. 1.

Cemetery District No. 1 is declared to be established and duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Beginning at a point on the E Bank of Swinomish Slough, in the NE 1/4 of Section 11, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M., where the said bank line is intersected by the centerline of Primary State Highway No. 1, commonly known as the “Memorial Highway”; thence E and SE along the centerline of said highway to the centerline of the “Dunbar Road No. CXVI”, said line also being the E line of Section 14, Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M.; thence S along the centerline of the said “Dunbar Road” and the “John Jones Road No. 111” to the centerline of the “McLean Road No. 365”; thence E along the said “McLean Road” to the centerline of the “Penn Road No. XCIV”; thence S along the said “Penn Road” and the “County Farm Road No. 468”, to the S line of Section 25, Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M.; thence E to the W or right bank of the Skagit River; thence S along the said W bank to intersect the N-S centerline of Section 36, said Township and Range; thence across the said River along the said centerline to the W or right bank of the “South Fork” of the Skagit River, thence S along the said W bank to the head of “Freshwater Slough” in the SW 1/4 of Section 19, Township 33 N, R 4 E.W.M.; thence W and S along the right bank of Freshwater Slough, to the shoreline of “Skagit Bay”; thence NW along the said shoreline and N along the E Bank of “Swinomish Slough” to the point of beginning. 6.08.020 Cemetery District No. 2.

Cemetery District No. 2 is declared to be established and duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Beginning at a point, which said point is the intersection of the N line of Section 31, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. with the E shoreline of Fidalgo Island; thence due W along the N line of said Section 31, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. and the N line of Sections 36, 35 and 34, all in Township 35 N, R 1 E.W.M. to the W shoreline of Fidalgo Island; thence S along the W shoreline of Fidalgo Island through Sections 34 and 35, Township 35 N, R 1 E.W.M. to the S line of said Section 35; thence S, W, S, and E along the W and S shoreline of Fidalgo Island through Sections 2, 11, 10, 15, 22, 23, 26, 25 and 24, all in Township 34 N, R 1 E.W.M., to the E line of said Section 24, Township 35 N, R 1 E.W.M.; thence NE along the S shoreline of Fidalgo Island through Sections 19, 20, 17, 8 and 9, all in Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M., to an intersection with the E line of said Section 9, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M., thence N along the E line of said Section 9 to the section corner common to Sections 3, 4, 9 and 10, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M.; thence E along the S line of Section 3, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M., to the SE corner of said Section 3; thence N along the E line of said Section 3 to an intersection with the E shoreline of Fidalgo Island; thence NW along the E shoreline of Fidalgo Island, through said Section 3, to an intersection with the N line of Section 3, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M.; thence NW, W, and SW, along the E and N shoreline of Fidalgo Island, through Sections 34, 27, 28 and 21 all in Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. to an intersection with the W line of said Section 28; thence S along the E shoreline of Fidalgo Bay through Sections 29, 32, and 33, all in Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. to the S line of Section 33, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M.; thence S, W, and N along the E, S, and W shoreline of Fidalgo Bay through Sections 4 and 5 both is Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M. to the N line of said Section 5, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M.; thence N along the W shoreline of Fidalgo Bay through Sections 32 and 31 both in Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. to an intersection with the N line of said Section 31, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M. which said point is the point of beginning of this description.

Said district being further described as:

PARCEL A: The W 600′ of the E 990′ of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 5, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M., being the plat of “Fern Hill Cemetery”, according to the recorded Plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Auditor of Skagit County, Washington, in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 13, records of Skagit County;

PARCEL B: The E 330′ of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 5, Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M., EXCEPT the E 30′ thereof for road;

6.08.030 Cemetery District No. 3.

Cemetery District No. 3 is declared be established and duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Township 35 N, R 1 E.W.M.; Sections 32, 25, 26, 35 and 36, Township 36 N, R 1 E.W.M.; Sections 5, 6, 7 and 8, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M.; Section 31, Township 36 N, R 2 E.W.M. (Ord. 4258, 1966; 34 CJ 565)

6.08.040 Cemetery District No. 4.

Cemetery District No. 4 is declared to be established and duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36, all in Township 35 N, R 3 E.W.M.

Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 34, 35 and 36, all in Township 36 N, R 2 E.W.M.

Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, and the N 1/2 of Sections 21, 22, 23 and 24, all in Township 35 N, R 3 E.W.M.

Sections 1 and 12, Township 35 N, R 2 E.W.M.

ALL situate in the County of Skagit, State of Washington.

EXCEPTING THEREFROM all tidelands of the second class and all oyster tracts or oysterlands, platted or unplatted. (Res. No. 1, 1973; 40 CJ 78)

6.08.050 Cemetery District No. 5.

Cemetery District No. 5 is declared to be established and duly organized.

The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:

Commencing on the Skagit-Whatcom County line at the Eastern boundary of Skagit County; thence along the Eastern boundary of Skagit County in a generally Southwesterly direction to its intersection with the North boundary of Snohomish County in Range 14, East, W.M.; thence West twenty miles, more or less, along the Skagit-Snohomish County line to the Southwest corner of Section 31, Township 33 North, Range 11 East, W.M.; thence North seven miles to the Northwest corner of Section 31, Township 34 North, Range 11 East; thence West eight miles to the Northwest Corner of Section 35, Township 34 North, Range 9 East; thence South one mile to the South corner of Section 35, Township 34 North, Range 9 East; thence West ten miles to the Southwest corner of Section 31 Township 34 North, Range 8 East; thence South 6 miles to the Skagit-Snohomish County Line at the Southeast corner of Section 36, Township 33 North, Range 7 East, W.M.; thence West on said County line four miles to the Southwest corner of Section 33, Township 33 North, Range 7 East, W.M.; thence North in a direct line twenty-four miles to a point on the Skagit-Whatcom County line at the Northwest corner of Section 4, Township 36 North, Range 7 East, W.M.; thence East along the Skagit-Whatcom County line to the point of beginning.
