RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES

Consistent with RCW 35.21.200 as it currently exists or is hereinafter amended, the city of Westport requires that all of its appointive officials be residents of the city of Westport and that residents of the city of Westport shall be given preference in the employment of its employees. Any portion of the ordinance codified in this chapter which is inconsistent with or in conflict with RCW 35.21.200 as it currently exists or is hereinafter amended shall be deemed invalid.
