10.36.010 Traffic regulation – Authority – Designated.
The director of public works for the city is authorized and empowered to enact temporary traffic regulations and install traffic-control devices in construction and/or hazard areas on or near public streets or highways of the city. (Ord. 544 § 1, 1977)
10.36.020 Traffic regulation – Authority – Jurisdiction.
Said authority shall be limited to motor vehicle traffic traveling on city streets and highways within the city limits and shall include, but not be limited to, controlling traffic flow, volume, speed and weight of vehicles. (Ord. 544 § 2, 1977)
10.36.030 Traffic regulation – Authority – Duration.
The director of public works shall have the authority to establish temporary traffic regulations only so long as the construction and/or hazardous areas create a hazard upon the city streets or highways within the city. (Ord. 544 § 3, 1977)
10.36.040 Traffic regulation – Adherence to Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control Devices.
All regulations so enacted by the director of public works shall be in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control Devices. (Ord. 544 § 4, 1977)
