NUISANCE ABATEMENT FUND

3.106.010 Fund created—Purposes.
There is created a fund to be known as the nuisance abatement fund. Money in this fund shall be expended only to pay for the cost of public nuisance abatement. (Ord. 3274 § 1 (part), 1990).
3.106.020 Source of funds.
From time to time, the city council shall budget, appropriate or otherwise authorize the transfer of money from any available source into such fund. Money to be deposited in this fund shall also consist of state and federal grants and loans, private grants, however designated, and court awarded judgments all of which are associated with abatement of public nuisances by the city. (Ord. 3274 § 1 (part), 1990).
3.106.030 Expenditures.
Expenditures from such fund shall only be for the purpose mentioned in Section 2.106.010 of this chapter. No expenditures shall be made from such fund unless the city council approves such expenditure by passing an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
