TREASURER’S RECONCILIATION FUND

3.11.010 Fund created—Purpose.
There is created a special fund to be known as the treasurer’s reconciliation fund. Money in the fund shall be expended only for the purpose of reconciling daily cash receipts in the treasurer’s office. (Ord. 2306 § 1 (part), 1979).
3.11.020 Source of funds.
Money in the treasurer’s reconciliation fund shall be derived from deposits to such fund as authorized from time to time by appropriation or transfer from available sources; provided, no such appropriation or transfer shall exceed the amount of two hundred dollars. Also, all money received by the treasurer in excess of daily receipts of the treasurer’s office, and not otherwise accounted for, shall also be credited to and deposited in the treasurer’s reconciliation fund. 3.11.030 Expenditures and credits.
The treasurer shall credit money to the treasurer’s reconciliation fund, and expend money therefrom, in accordance with provisions of Sections 3.11.010 and 3.11.020 of this chapter, and shall prepare and maintain an accurate written record of the date, amount and probable source of any expenditures from or credit to that fund.
