DOMESTIC WATER IMPROVEMENT FUND

3.72.010 Fund created—Purposes.
There is hereby created a special fund to be known as the domestic water improvement fund. The moneys in the fund shall be used to pay for expenses of engineering services, land acquisition and construction, and for other expenses incidental to the planning and construction of additions and improvements to, and new facilities for, the acquisition of water, its treatment, transmission, and distribution, all for the domestic water system of the city of Yakima. (Ord. 900 § 1 (part), 1967).
3.72.020 Source of funds.
Proceeds from a contemplated issue of domestic water revenue bonds, together with any money contributed or loaned by any governmental agency or any other source for the purposes specified in Section 3.72.010 above, shall be deposited in the domestic water improvement fund as any such money becomes available. The city council may, from time to time, transfer or appropriate money from any available source into the fund. (Ord. 900 § 1 (part), 1967).
3.72.030 Expenditures.
Expenditures from the domestic water improvement fund shall be made only for the purposes specified in Section 3.72.010 above. No expenditure shall be made from such fund unless the Yakima city council shall approve such expenditure by passing an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
