TROLLEY FUND

3.95.010 Fund created—Purposes.
There is created a special fund to be known as the trolley fund. The money in the fund shall be used to pay for the acquisition, operation, maintenance and capital improvement of trolley cars and operation, maintenance and capital improvement of the trolley system of the city. 3.95.020 Source of funds.
Money to be deposited in the trolley fund shall be derived from trolley fares, revenue from salvage from the trolley system, from allocations and transfers of money to such fund made by the Yakima city council, and from such other sources as may be designated from time to time by the Yakima city council. (Ord. 3089 § 2, 1988: Ord. 1586 § 1 (part), 1973).
3.95.030 Expenditures.
Expenditures from the trolley fund shall be made only for the purposes specified in Section 3.95.010. No expenditure shall be made from such fund unless the Yakima city council shall approve such expenditure by passing an ordinance appropriating money within the fund for the purpose for which the expenditure is to be made, or by including an appropriation for such purpose in the budget.
