6.16.020 Prohibited on sidewalks.

6.16.010 Definitions.
A. As used in this chapter, “sidewalk” means that property between the curb lines or the lateral lines of a roadway, as hereinafter defined, and the adjacent property, set aside and intended for the use of pedestrians, or such portion of private property parallel and in proximity to a public highway, as hereinafter defined, and dedicated to use by pedestrians.
B. As used in this chapter, “roadway” means the paved, improved or proper portion of any public highway designated, or ordinarily used for vehicular travel.
C. As used in this chapter, “public highway” means every way, lane, road, street, boulevard and every way or place in the city open as a matter of right to public vehicular travel. (Ord. 148 § 1, 1973).
6.16.020 Prohibited on sidewalks.
No person shall ride, walk or in any manner permit any horse to be upon any sidewalk in the city. (Ord. 148 § 2, 1973).
