OFFICERS' BONDS

2.12.020 Premiums to be paid by city.
2.12.010 Amount designated.
A. The city clerk shall execute a bond to the city for his/her office, as provided by law, in the penal sum of $100,000.
B. The city treasurer shall execute a bond to the city for his/her office, as provided by law, in the penal sum of $100,000.
C. The finance director shall execute a bond to the city for his/her office, as provided by law, in the penal sum of $100,000.
D. The bond amounts set forth in this section for the offices of city clerk, city treasurer and finance director may hereafter be changed by the city council by resolution, from time to time. (Ord. 383 § 2, 1993; Ord. 224 § 1, 1984; Ord. 60 § 1, 1961; Ord. 2 § 1, 1957)
2.12.020 Premiums to be paid by city.
The premiums for bonds furnished by the city clerk, city treasurer and finance director shall be paid by the city. (Ord. 383 § 2, 1993; Ord. 2 § 2, 1957)
2.12.030 Blanket bond.
The bond requirements set forth in EMC 2.12.010 for the city clerk, city treasurer and finance director may be met by an appropriate blanket bond. (Ord. 383 § 2, 1993)
