10.20.080 Crossing fire hose.

No vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of the Fire Department when laid down on any street, or private driveway, to be used at any fire or alarm of fire, without the consent of the Fire Chief or the assistant in command. (Ord. 73 Art. IV § 20, 1928)

10.20.090 Bicycle riding restricted.

It shall be unlawful to ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk. The rider of a bicycle upon a roadway shall ride as nearly as practicable within five feet of the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway except when passing a standing or other vehicle or making a left-hand turn at an intersection. 10.20.100 Riding on handle bars.

It shall be unlawful for the operator of any bicycle or motorcycle when upon a street to carry any other person upon the bar, handle or tank of any such vehicle or for any person to so ride upon such vehicle. (Ord. 73 Art. IV § 22, 1928)

10.20.110 Driving through funeral procession.

It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive between the vehicles comprising a funeral procession; provided, that such vehicles are conspicuously so designated. (Ord. 73 Art. IV § 23, 1928)

10.20.120 Clinging to moving vehicles.

It shall be unlawful for any person traveling upon any bicycle, motorcycle or any toy vehicle to cling to or attach himself or his vehicle to any other moving vehicle upon any roadway. (Ord. 73 § 24, 1928)

10.20.130 Use of coasters, roller skates, skateboards.

It shall be unlawful for any person to ride upon any roller skates, coaster, skateboard, toy vehicle, or similar device, upon any roadway, or upon the sidewalk in any commercial, manufacturing, or industrial zoned area within the City, or upon the sidewalk on Cedar Street adjacent to the Mt. Shasta Elementary School, unless such area is specifically posted by the City as allowing such uses. (Ord. CCO-96-07 § 55, 1996; Ord. 438, 1988; Ord. 73 § 25, 1928)

10.20.140 Right turn prohibitions for vehicles over 40 feet in length at certain locations.

It shall be unlawful for owners or operators of vehicles over 40 feet in length to make right turns at the following locations:

(A) From south-bound North Mt. Shasta Boulevard onto west-bound West Lake Street.

(B) From east-bound West Lake Street onto south-bound North Mt. Shasta Boulevard.

(C) From west-bound West Lake Street onto north-bound North Mt. Shasta Boulevard.

(D) From east-bound West Alma Street onto south-bound North Mt. Shasta Boulevard. (Ord. CCO-03-07, 2003)
