§6250 FLYING KITES PROHIBITED IN STREET

No person shall fly any kite or similar device in, upon or from any of the streets or highways of the City. (Ord. 189, §1, adopted 1910)

§6251 PENALTY FOR VIOLATION

Every person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) and upon default in the payment of said fine be imprisoned at the rate of one day for each one dollar ($1.00) of said fine remaining until the same is satisfied. Penal Code sec. 1205 (Stat. 1957, c. 1162) now requires credit of five dollars ($5.00) for each day of imprisonment in lieu of payment of fine.
