STOP INTERSECTIONS

The intersections of streets within the city set forth in resolutions of the city council heretofore and hereafter adopted shall be and the same are hereby fixed, designated and established as stop intersections in and for the city. [Code 1959 § 11.62; prior code § 16-97].
10.30.020 Placing signs.
The traffic authority shall erect a stop sign at or near each entrance to each stop intersection of the city. Every such sign shall conform as to type, location and placement and in all other respects to the requirements of the State Vehicle Code relating to stop signs. 10.30.030 Stopping at entrance to stop intersections.
When a stop sign is erected and in place as provided in this chapter at or near an entrance to a stop intersection, every driver or operator of a vehicle shall stop such vehicle at or near the entrance to such stop intersection before entering the same, except when directed to proceed by an authorized officer or traffic-control signal.
