CHAPTER 43: URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY

43.01 SHORT TITLE.
This chapter may be referred to and cited as the "City of Prineville Urban Renewal Agency Ordinance." (Ord. 1295, passed 8-13-24)
43.03 CORPORATE NAME.
The corporate name of the urban renewal agency activated by this chapter will be, and the agency will be known as, the "Prineville Urban Renewal Agency." (Ord. 1295, passed 8-13-24)
43.04 AGENCY BOARD.
Pursuant to ORS 457.045(2), all the rights, powers, duties, privileges, and immunities granted to and vested in an urban renewal agency will be exercised by and vested in the Council, which will serve as the agency’s Board ("Board"). Notwithstanding anything contained in this chapter to the contrary, all Board acts and/or omissions will be deemed the acts and/or omissions of the Prineville Urban Renewal Agency only and not the acts and/or omissions of the city and/or the Council. 43.05 BYLAWS.
The Board may adopt by resolution, and may from time to time amend, bylaws governing the administration of the Prineville Urban Renewal Agency. (Ord. 1295, passed 8-13-24)
43.06 BUDGET COMMITTEE.
A budget committee will be established to review and recommend a budget to the Board. Members of the budget committee will consist of the Board and an equal number of citizens, who will be consistent with the budget committee members for the city. The budget committee will operate subject to, and in accordance with, applicable Oregon law. (Ord. 1295, passed 8-13-24)
