1.08.010 Classification adopted.

The city of Battle Ground, Washington, adopts the classification of noncharter code city operating under the council-manager plan of government as set forth in Chapter 35A.13 RCW, endowed with all the applicable rights, powers, privileges, duties and obligations of a noncharter code city as set forth in RCW Title 35A as the same now exists, including, but not by way of limitation, those set forth in Chapter 35A.11 RCW, and further including all supplements, amendments and other modifications of said title hereinafter at any time enacted. 1.08.020 Copy of ordinance to be forwarded by city clerk.

The city clerk is directed to forward to the Secretary of the State of Washington a certified copy of the ordinance codified in this chapter. (Ord. 02-009 § 3, 2002: Ord. 241 § 2, 1975)

1.08.030 Initiative and referendum.

The powers of initiative and referendum may be exercised by the voters of the city of Battle Ground as provided in RCW 35A.11.080, 35A.11.090 and 35A.11.100. (Ord. 593 § 1, 1987)
