10.24.010 Trains obstructing streets, highways and crossings prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person operating any freight or passenger train within the limits of the city to permit such train to obstruct with such train or with any engine, freight car, passenger car or caboose any street or highway or highway railroad crossing in such city for a period of more than five consecutive minutes without breaking or moving such train to permit the passage of all persons or vehicles, and each and every member of any train crew engaged in operating such train shall be severally deemed to be operating such trains, and no demand to break or move such train shall be necessary or be required to be made by the persons using such highway desiring to cross such railroad thereon. 10.24.020 Violation—Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of Section 10.24.010 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in the sum of not more than fifty dollars. (Ord. 59 § 2, 1921)
