OUTSIDE TOILET FACILITIES

12.20.010 Connection to sewer or septic tank required.
From the date of the approval and passage of the ordinance codified in this chapter as required by law, no person in the city shall construct or maintain outside toilet facilities within the limits of the city unless the same are connected to an operating sewer or operating septic tank and drain field. And the same must meet and be in compliance with all health regulations and specifications as laid down by the city, county of Douglas and state. (Ord. 103 § 1, 1951)
12.20.020 Illegal acts designated.
After the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, it shall be illegal to maintain any outside toilet facilities within the city unless the same meet the requirements set forth in Section 12.20.010, and any outside toilet facilities now in existence shall forthwith be removed from any site upon property within the city unless the same are in compliance with Section 12.20.010. 12.20.030 Penalty for violation.
Anyone found guilty of any violation under this chapter shall be fined not more than three hundred dollars and shall receive not more than three months in jail, or both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 103 § 3 (part), 1951)
