ABANDONED WELLS

8.32.010 Existence unlawful.
It is unlawful to permit the existence of an abandoned well in the city, and all such wells shall be filled completely with earthen material so that the same shall not constitute a hazard to persons or property. (Prior code § 8.66.010)
8.32.020 Violation—Penalty.
Any person violating this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof will be subject to a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars or imprisonment in the city jail for a period not to exceed ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment. (Prior code § 8.66.020)
