EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS KITS

2.40.010 Purchase authorized.
The Board of Commissioners authorizes the purchase of emergency preparedness kits from the Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts. [Res. 789 § 1, 2007.]
2.40.020 Issuance.
The District may provide emergency preparedness kits to any and all District employees for their use in the event of a major disaster or emergency. The kit shall remain the property of the District. The employee shall return the kit upon termination of employment or, at the request of the District, shall determine the most appropriate location for the kit, and shall reimburse the District for the cost of any lost kit. 2.40.030 Examination.
To ensure that the emergency preparedness kit is fully and properly equipped and supplied, the District employee shall return the kit to the District at least once each calendar year, at a time determined by the District, for examination and replacement of all or any portion of the kit.
