10.10.010 Parking restrictions.
Parking is prohibited on the following:
A. West side of Albert Street from Roosevelt Street south to Brierhill Boulevard.
B. East side of Long Street.
C. East side of Cothary Street.
D. South side of Davis Street.
E. North side of Railroad Avenue.
F. North side of Roosevelt Street.
G. Church Street – No parking where posted.
H. No parking on Brierhill Boulevard between Church Street and Short Street on the left side of street when traveling from Church Street to Short Street. [Ord. 2019.05 § 2, 2019].
10.10.020 Downtown business district.
Parking shall be prohibited between Davis Street and Railroad Avenue, along State Route 165. [Ord. 2019.05 § 2, 2019].
10.10.030 Cothary Street parking restriction.
Repealed by Ord. 2019.05. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.040 Town Hall parking lot.
It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to remain parked in the Town Hall parking lot, Lot 10 of Burlington Northern Addition, for over twenty-four (24) hours. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.045 Residential parking restrictions.
Two parking stalls, marked “Residence Only Parking” shall be reserved for the residents of 538 Church Street, Wilkeson, Washington. Such parking stalls shall be located in front of the residence, clearly marked with signage and/or surface markings. [Ord. 2016.07 § 1, 2016].
10.10.050 Town parking lot adjacent to the Wilkeson Saloon.
No vehicle shall be allowed to park in the Town parking lot adjacent to the 521 Church tax parcel 4653500-016-0 for over twenty-four (24) hours. Over twenty-four (24) hours permission is required from Town and posted on vehicle.
No parking shall be allowed on any sidewalk, street planting strip, crosswalk, intersection, bridge, or any place where official signs prohibit parking. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.055 Eagle Hall loading zone.
Only vehicles loading or unloading shall be allowed in an area marked “Loading Zone” by signage and/or roadway marking in front of the Eagles Hall located at 536 Church Street, Wilkeson, Washington. [Ord. 2016.07 § 1, 2016].
10.10.057 Parking restrictions in Wilkeson Town parks, Wilkeson Skateboard Park, Wilkeson Wastewater Treatment Plant, Coke Oven Park, the Wilkeson Cemetery, and the water reservoir property.
No vehicles shall be allowed to park overnight at any Wilkeson Town park, the Wilkeson Skateboard Park, the Wilkeson Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Coke Oven Park, Wilkeson Cemetery, or the water reservoir property. [Ord. 2018.051 § 1, 2018].
10.10.060 Parking of trucks and trailers.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or allow to remain parked for more than three (3) hours at a time any truck over ten thousand (10,000) pounds gross weight capacity, or inoperable vehicle, upon the Town streets, avenues or alleys, within the Town. No trailers of any kind permitted in any Town-owned parking lots. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.070 Parallel parking.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or allow to remain parked any vehicle in any public roadway within the Town other than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.080 Impoundment.
Vehicles may be impounded that are parked in violation of WMC 10.10.010 through 10.10.100 or State law. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
10.10.090 Penalties.
A person in violation of WMC 10.10.010 through 10.10.100 has committed an infraction and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75.00).
A. Parking lot violation.
B. Illegal parking on roadway.

10.10.100 Downtown business district.
Repealed by Ord. 2019.05. [Ord. 2015.16 § 2, 2015].
